Aion 2 enhancement costs - planning Kinah and materials in Korea

For a Korea Heroic Greatsword at base item level 108, going from +10 to +15 with no failures stored on +10, the remaining plan averages 12.24 attempts, 14,892,866 Kinah, and 163,021 강화석. If every step runs through every attempt the profile allows, that plan takes 66 attempts, 78,260,000 Kinah, and 872,780 강화석. Open it in the enhancement calculator. The average is the mean for this profile, not the Kinah one sword will spend. Sixty-six attempts is the most the profile allows.

Set Category to Greatsword, Quality to Heroic, and Base item level to 108. Use the item's level before enhancement adds levels. A sword you have already taken to +10 still uses 108 here when 108 was its starting item level. In the Quality menu, choose Heroic. The entry named Epic is a different quality and loads different rates.

Compare an early target with the next upgrade block

Character level 45 does not choose an enhancement price. Choose the equipment category, quality and base item level, then set its current and target enhancement. A new piece at +0, a piece already at +10 and a piece already at +15 have different remaining costs even when they use the same profile.

What does the next attempt cost?

From +10 to +11 the success chance is 65%. One attempt costs 380,000 Kinah and 9,860 강화석. A failure leaves the item at +10. Each failure at this step adds 5 percentage points to the next try. With no failures stored, this step can take at most 8 attempts. After two failures the next chance is 75%, and at most 6 attempts remain. After seven failures the next attempt succeeds.

Those seven failures belong to +10 only. They do not raise the +12 step above its own 50% starting chance.

When does the failure count reset?

Count failures since you reached the enhancement level you are on now. A success moves you up, and the next step starts at zero failures. On this profile a failed attempt keeps the current enhancement. The added chance does not follow you to the next level.

If +10 already has two failures, the walk to +15 averages 12.06 attempts, 14,824,815 Kinah, and 161,255 강화석. The ceiling becomes 64 attempts, 77,500,000 Kinah, and 853,060 강화석. Most of the plan barely moves, because +12 through +15 still start from zero failures. Changing Current enhancement clears the failure count. Set "Failures at the current step" again for the step you are attempting. The note under that control says previous-step failures do not carry in.

How do average and maximum Kinah differ?

Each step has its own chance and its own cost. From a clean +10, the five steps round to:

One success on every step takes 5 attempts. Buying materials once for each step costs 5,250,000 Kinah and 63,590 강화석. Average Kinah is the mean for this profile, rounded to a whole number, and it excludes Kinah you have already spent. Maximum Kinah adds every remaining attempt through the guaranteed success at each step.

What do the 50%, 90%, and 95% rows mean?

For this +10 to +15 plan with no stored failures, half of outcomes finish in 12 attempts or fewer, 90% finish in 17 or fewer, and 95% finish in 18 or fewer. Those counts cover the whole plan, every step added together. They are not Kinah limits. Eighteen attempts is not eighteen times the +15 price of 1,970,000 Kinah. Earlier steps cost less, and a long +11 can be part of an 18-attempt total. The calculator does not turn the 50%, 90%, or 95% rows into Kinah. The Kinah ceiling it does state is the maximum, 78,260,000, which is every allowed attempt at every step.

How do you keep the plan?

Which equipment does this plan not price?

In Korea, 격돌의 룬 to +2 has an 80.00% success chance. Its category is 룬, its grade is 스페셜, and its base item level is 40. Failure destroys the equipment: the failure penalty is 파괴. One attempt costs 9,070 Kinah, 290 강화석 and 1 격돌의 룬 강화 주문서 (각인). Its failure correction is 0.00%, so the regular calculator's rising chances and guaranteed-attempt ceiling cannot price this rune step.

The 고결의 허리띠 to +2 step succeeds at 100.00%. This is category 허리띠, grade 영웅, base item level 76. One attempt costs 798,000 Kinah, 31,900 강화석 and 1 고결의 허리띠 강화 주문서 (각인). Its listed failure penalty is 유지, meaning the equipment is retained.

For 계시의 아뮬렛 to +2, category 아뮬렛, grade 영웅 and base item level 76, the chance is also 100.00% and the listed failure penalty is 유지. That single step costs 338,000 Kinah, 13,520 강화석 and 1 계시의 아뮬렛 강화 주문서 (각인). The belt and amulet require different scrolls despite sharing their grade and base level.

A guaranteed step can be budgeted from its fixed attempt cost. Before attempting the rune, decide whether losing it is acceptable for your next upgrade. The 9,070-Kinah attempt price excludes acquiring another rune after destruction; the replacement price and any enhancement levels a replacement would keep are unknown. A guaranteed total budget for replacing and upgrading it cannot be calculated from this step.
