Aion 2 gathering: which skill each resource needs and where it grows

Gathering in Aion 2 Global runs on six gathering skills. The gatherables database lists every node you can gather: which skill it belongs to, what it yields, what else it can drop and every place it grows, each point linking to its spot on the map.

The six skills

Every gatherable in the database asks for Required Proficiency Level 1 and is a Novice grade node, so no node in the list is held back by skill level. The skill and the map decide what is available to you.

Where each resource grows

The world is split into two pairs of maps, and almost every node belongs to one pair:

PairMapsNodes
Verteron and EltnenVerteron, EltnenOrichalcum, Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, Yggdrasil, Aria, Targena, Mela, Coriolus, Kukuru, Inina, Cypri, Odyle
Altgard and MorheimAltgard, MorheimOrichalcum, Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, Asvata, Azpha, Calendula, Raydam, Morfa, Ohkra, Conide, Pujery, Odyle

Each pair has its own copy of every ore, gem and Odyle node, and its own log and its own herbs, so the page of a node says which pair it belongs to in its name, for example Orichalcum (Verteron, Eltnen) and Orichalcum (Altgard, Morheim). Two ingredient nodes are the exception: Cypri also grows on Verteron alone, in a separate listing of 23 map points.

Odyle is the only skill that also grows inside dungeons and on the Reshanta map:

Odyle is also the densest skill in the open world: Odyle (Verteron, Eltnen) has 1,083 map points and Odyle (Altgard, Morheim) 1,030, against 829 and 803 for the two Orichalcum nodes and between 279 and 312 for each gem node. Logs, herbs and ingredients are sparser, between 120 and 240 map points per node, apart from the Verteron-only Cypri.

What else a node gives

Every node can also give Poko's Skin Bundle (Bound). Herbs add Life Crystal, and logs add Seed of Detection. These extras are listed on the node's page under Also obtained, apart from the yield.

Using the list

The gatherables list filters by gathering skill and by map and sorts in game order or by name. To plan a route, pick the skill and then the map: the result is the nodes that grow there. A resource's own item page lists the nodes that give it under Gathered from, which answers the question the other way round. The crafting calculator lists the materials a recipe needs, so a gathering route can start from a recipe.
