Aion 2 event timers - when each event starts in your time zone

The event timers list the next start of each scheduled Aion 2 Global event in your browser's time zone and count down to it. The same countdowns run in a strip under the site header, so the next Shugo Festival or season change is visible from any page. Choose your region on the events page. The choice is kept in this browser and written into the link as ?region=, so a shared link opens the same view.

Shugo Festival and Dimensional Invasion

Both are field events that the client schedules in every hour of every day, for Elyos and Asmodian alike. The Shugo Festival starts on the hour. Dimensional Invasion starts at half past the hour. The timer shows the next start and the two after it in your own clock.

The festival has eleven games. They are Jump Jump, Wraith Evasion, Mysterious Track, Hidden Lugi, Odyle Flight Frenzy, Goldrin's Treasure, Defend Shugo Merchants, Up! Up! Up!, Not This Tile?, Nyerk Shooter and Shugo's Dilemma. The client lists every one of them on the hour, so the timer follows the hour and not a single game.

Artifact Siege

Artifact Siege is scheduled on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 21:00. The game states that the schedule of all content is displayed in server time, and the clock of each region's server is not published. The timer therefore shows the days and the hour as the game gives them and does not convert them into your time zone.

The Ascension Trial rotation and the daily shop limit

The dungeon group of the Ascension Trial changes every Wednesday at 16:00 on the client's UTC+9 clock, which is 07:00 UTC. The rotation is a change of dungeon group and not a reset of your attempts.

The purchase limits of the launch product lineup reset every day at 4:00 PM KST, which is also 07:00 UTC. The timer is limited to that lineup.

Seasons and passes

Every window below opens and closes at 07:00 UTC, so it ends at the same moment in every region.

A window that is open shows how long it has left and how far through it you are. A window that has not opened yet shows the time until it does.

Reading the client clock

Dates stored in the client carry no time zone. They are read on a UTC+9 clock because that reading matches a published moment: Daeva Pass sales end on December 15, 2026 at 11:00 PM PST, which is December 16 at 07:00 UTC, and the client stores that moment as 16:00. The events page shows your own zone and the client clock side by side, so you can check any conversion by hand.

Notifications

Press Notify me on an event and your browser asks for permission once. While any page of the site is open in a tab, the browser then shows a notification when that event starts. For a season or pass window it notifies when the window opens or closes. A closed tab sends nothing, and a browser that blocks notifications for the site keeps the button disabled. Your choices are stored in the browser.
